$230,000 Settlement for MVA Victim On May 28, 2009 Attorney Joseph reached a settlement for a Medina County resident for the sum of $230,000.00.  The case involved a male motorist who was injured in a motor vehicle accident on October 21, 2006 and suffered multiple rib fractures.  Due to the chest and rib injuries, the gentleman also developed pheumonia and ultimately underwent a surgical procedure to his lung.  The surgery was contested by the defense as being solely and proximately caused by the subject accident.  The case resolved at mediation.
