Joseph T. Joseph is the founder and principal attorney of our firm. His legal experience focus’ on successfully negotiating settlement recoveries for those who have been affected by a personal injury or wrongful death. Mr. Joseph is not afraid to stand up to any insurance company or corporation. His success is derived from his confidence in his practice and his strong and current knowledge of the law. Mr. Joseph is committed to employing a compassionate staff that is highly credentialed.
Mr. Joseph has offices in both Cleveland and Youngstown and currently represents clients throughout the State of Ohio and the surrounding states. His legal career has yielded thousands of victories for personal injury victims. In addition, Joseph is well-versed in appellate court including having been involved in a major insurance coverage victory decided by the Supreme Court of Ohio. Joseph is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and in the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio and Southern Distict of Ohio.
Mr. Joseph attended Bowling Green State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and minored in Political Science. He obtained his law degree at Cleveland- Marshall College of Law.
Remaining educated on all changing case law and the dynamic legal system as a whole is paramount for Mr. Joseph. In order to remain current on the dynamic legal system, Joseph retains membership in several key legal organizations which include The American Association for Justice, The Ohio Association of Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
Joseph T. Joseph Jr. has also participated in The Cleveland Homeless Legal Assistance Program which focuses on eliminating the financial burden of legal fees for those individuals in homeless situations. In addition to trying cases to jury, Mr. Joseph also has several years experience acting as arbitrator in Cuyahoga County where he hears and assists in rendering decisions on a variety of claims pending before the Court thereby giving him a unique ability to evaluate claims. Mr. Joseph has also lectured at educational seminars on various topics such as “Insurance Law”, “How to be a Successful Negotiator” and “the Art of Settlement” and “How to Start Your Own Law Firm”.
Joseph T. Joseph Jr. resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio with his wife and daughter. He is a member of the USA Triathlon organization, the Cleveland Triathlon Club and competes regularly as an amateur triathlete, most notably successfully completing an Ironman distance triathlon in 2008. In addition to running, biking and swimming, Mr. Joseph enjoys reading, writing and music in his free time.
